Star Light, Star Bright

Okay, tonight was weird. Visited relatives in an under-gifted area. One had just returned from a 2 month visit to Israel. She grew up there, hasn't been back in about 4 years. Interestingly, she mentions how she had never seen so many clouds, total sky white-out, as she had this summer.

When leaving, we spotted some "stars" doing zig-zag patterns, at least 10 of them, and they were working up some serious speed. The moon was blocked from view, total sky white-out, except above my car as usual, which is where they appeared. Saw one huge ship, triangular and fully lit up, come close then disappear into a tiny dot. Called the relatives out to see the show. They rubbed the sleep from their eyes for 10 seconds, then went back to sleep. Hmph. What will it take to wake these people up??

We gifted on the way there and on the way back. Seeing the light show encouraged us to go out of our way for an hour and fill in some holes in the grid. To all you lower life forms out there:
